CanGoGreen is a platform that stresses the importance of hands-on experience for those who are seeking vocational jobs in the public health and hygiene sector while raising awareness for environmental consciousness. CanGoGreen matches voluntary home or office owners with people from vocational schools, and NGOs offering vocational and employment opportunities services to ex-convicts, people with disabilities, ethnic minorities, and new immigrants. Knowing that practical skills are essential when it comes to looking for a vocational job, we will be collaborating with various vocational schools, rehabilitation centres and NGOs in providing their service groups with free hands-on experience in providing cleaning and hygiene service in order to prepare them with skills and expertise when looking to get employed in this industry.

Raising people consciousness towards environmental protection
On the other hand, we believe that the root source of public places pollution comes from excessive waste and poor waste management. On CanGoGreen, users are able to donate unwanted recyclable materials, for example, wooden furniture, glassware, etc., and post the details of the unwanted goodies onto the platform, allowing interested public or service group to pick up. This not only encourages craftmanship among the public, but to reduce the amount of waste created, and to raise people consciousness towards environmental protection, and pollutions.
